Today we went to the Ratskeller for lunch, the restaurant is clear and nicely decorated. I had the wild boar knuckle with spaetzle, which tasted great. My companion had the vegan burger with sweet potato fries and was also very enthusiastic. The staff is very friendly and you prices are fair. I will definitely visit the Ratskeller again when I'm in Glückstadt.

We stopped at this restaurant today at noon with 5 people without a reservation! Very nice reception by the staff, great table and a mega delicious meal! We could choose from different appetizer variations and were more than delighted with this delicious cuisine! The main course was, among other things, leg of wild boar, hmm, super, super tasty and it was definitely not the last visit! Thank you and we hope to see you soon.

We were eating there almost 2 weeks ago and chose a free table outside. When we wanted to sit down, a waitress came and told us that we couldn't just sit down because the table was not disinfected. All right, but that is also a bit friendlier. The male waitress, I think it's the boss, is an absolutely unpleasant guy. He treats you from above and is very arrogant. My girlfriend wanted to pay cash first. When he came with the bill, she wanted to pay by card. Then he rolled his eyes and muttered something in front of him. Really, more than unprofessional. There was a "greeting from the kitchen" before the meal. Unfortunately, it was not explained what it is and the whole "greeting" tasted just like onions. The main course I had was the curry, the taste was ok, but nothing more. I will definitely not visit the Ratskeller again.

Awful service! Waiters in Germany are sometimes a bit harsh but the experience in this restaurant was at another level. We felt uncomfortable since we sat down til the end of the meal. Food was not good either. I would not recommend anyone to come here

The food is tasty and visually appealing. The staff caress the guest with little touches. A really nice evening that we will repeat.

Very good cuisine, we had plaice and beef roulade, both of very good quality and sufficient. Service nice and friendly. Clear recommendation, don't give 5 stars very often.
